Tom and Zoe held an extremely casual event when they chose to get married in the Adelaide Hills. They were drawn to the natural vista of Sinclair’s Gully, at Norton Summit.
I began at the Ceremony meeting Zoe up at the Cellar Door as guests made their way into the clearing. Tom blended perfectly against the backdrop of the candle bark gums as he awaited the arrival of his bride. The overcast conditions created a beautiful soft light that made the whole scene very complimentary.
Patrick Frost officiated their nuptials as close friends formed a quintet that entertained the guests pre and post Ceremony. Late afternoon moved into the early evening and the party moved up to the cellar door. The celebration was a combination of wine, a Paella feast and minimal formalities.
Tom & Zoe’s Wedding was definitely a chilled event aided by a few key choices. They opted against a bridal party, simply having a witness each. Flowers were a DIY effort by the bride and created from a harvest of family gardens and store blooms. Finally there was some recycled attire in amongst newer purchases all supporting the casual relaxed vibe.
