Jack and Laura managed to turn their backyard Engagement Party into a surprise Adelaide Wedding in under 8 weeks. However, it was clear that they would need industry insight to pull their vision together in a short period. Introducing Elly from Poppy and Pear Event Styling.
Moroccan elements and hints of luxe boho were fused together against the backdrop of the Groom’s family home. From the custom DJ booth, to the naked tipi, sneaky little gin bar and many guest chill out zones. It looked spectacular!!
My day started just as any other Wedding with preparation photos at both the Bride and Groom. We then headed to Urrbrae House where the couple chose to have a ‘first look’ followed by some creative portraits.
Simultaneously, guests were arriving at the house to discover they were actually attending a Wedding. Laura’s Aunt is a registered Celebrant and was on hand to cover the legalities.
We arrived back whereby the boys promptly took position. Laura then emerged with adoration from guests and their Ceremony began. Though brief in duration, it was full of laughter, tears and raw emotion.
The Ceremony flowed straight into the Reception with the newlyweds filling a champagne tower to get the party started. There were still some formalities to this mostly informal cocktail Wedding. But these were dealt with early on so that the new Mr & Mrs could revel in their success… a surprise wedding in under 8 weeks.
