The Wedding of ‘Chris and Penny’ blended classic romantic literature with old school romance. A chance encounter at a dinner party would be their ‘Once upon a time…’ and the rest is history.
I arrived at the Ceremony venue, which was my first stop for the day. I was excited, to see the bride, as I hadn’t taken any preparation photos. Though the sun was shinning the signature lawns of the Pulpshed were soaked like a teabag from the recent rain. Off limits, their Ceremony backdrop was one of the historic vine clad factory buildings.
Camille Abbott prepared all the guests and the stage was set for a Wedding. Anticipation built until the bride arrived in her London Cabs surrounded by her beautiful bridesmaids. She walked the aisle, where her groom was patiently waiting, and their love story was told to this special gathering. Their service was truly sincere and raw, leaving many of their guests making subtle eye dabs. With the proclamation that they were now ‘Mr & Mrs’ the newlyweds received congratulations from family and friends.
I then stole the bridal party and we meandered about the property, in the hazy afternoon sun, capturing portraits and memories from the day. After the delayed start to Spring the warm weather was divine and the vibe was extremely casual.
The bride and groom were besotted with one another and there were many a sneaky moment stolen between them. This authentic love made my job easy and I was one happy Wedding Photographer!! Whilst I could have taken photos for hours, there was a party going on and guest appearances to be made.
Chris and Penny were received by a rowdy crowd all eager to celebrate with them… and celebrate they did. Shortly after their entrance, they cut into that three tier marble masterpiece symbolising yet another chapter to their love story. I left them to continue the script well into the night feeling blessed to have captured such a lovely union.
