I’ve known John and Jasmine since 2012 when they were planning their Wedding. I’ve since photographed their nuptials, caught up again at several weddings and when Zoe was just a few weeks old. Recently we ventured out again, with two active kids, to document the next chapter.
Hugh is a carbon copy of his Dad… full of charm and charisma. Zoe was a quiet little miss at first, seeming more like her chilled out Mum. But I soon learnt that she’s equally full of sass with her own personality.
I chose the Blackwood Forest for it’s varied backdrops and points of interest (aka adventure for kids).
My Family Sessions are best described as a documentary migration in a safe environment. Kids don’t want to sit still and smile at the camera, so distraction is the key element.
