As couples look to source new venues for their Wedding Celebration, the Langhorne Creek Wine Region steps into the spotlight. Jo and Nick’s Lake Breeze Wedding is a prime example.
My day began in the city with the boys getting ready at Nick’s family home. Flanked by his brothers and best man, Nick’s preparations were anything but boring. The house was full to the brim with people and laughs.
In contrast, Jo was tucked away in a quiet lofty B&B setting in Langhorne Creek. Her preparations were a little more serious and Jo looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown with custom alterations by her Mum. The lucky bride was gifted a Tiffany & Co bracelet by her ‘mother-in-law’ and her look was complete.
Despite having a Summer Wedding, Jo and Nick were blessed with four seasons in one day. They managed to get through their Ceremony, with just a few spits, before a torrential shower came through. Still, the moody skies and absence of sun made all the colours pop and was a photographers delight.
With the threat of swift moving clouds we managed a few creative portraits before everyone headed to the shelter of the Barrel Room to kick start the party. Guests shared a banquet style dinner before the hilarity of speeches and the bridal waltz leaving the dancefloor open.
The couple’s Wedding Cake was made with love by the Groom’s Mum and this perfectly summarised the strong notion of family that was felt on this Wedding Day.
