Longview Vineyard played host to the Adelaide Hills Wedding of Rattana and Lauren. These two humble souls were a joy to photograph on a weekend in September when it was a tad chilly. Considering the Wedding Season thus far such a forecast isn’t that isolated.
Both the Groom and Bride held their preparations onsite at Longview surrounded by their important people. The boys were in the suites, whilst the girls occupied the homestead.
Lauren prepared in the master bedroom, which despite been newly furnished still has that lovely signature window light. The Bridesmaids wore an elegant forrest green dress from ‘Forever New’ whilst the boys looked classic in black and white.
The breezy chill joined them on the lawn for their nuptials officiated by Peter Leveranz under a stunning floral arbour by Floral Eden. Included in the Bridal Party was Amanda… the Bridesmaid responsible for their introduction. Family travelled from overseas in a welcome return to memories pre COVID. At the conclusion of the Ceremony guests gathered on the verandah to enjoy pre dinner drinks whilst we took care of Family and Bridal Party photos.
Over the Winter months the Barn space, synonymous with Wedding Receptions, was extended with a modern functional vibe. Rattana and Lauren were one of the first couples to maximise this newly extended space.
Rattana and Lauren’s day was perfectly styled with elegant, classical colours and a modern yet simplistic theme that complimented the landscape of the winery. This timeless union was the perfect start to my season.
